It’s a beautiful, magical thing, to leave a dirty house and come home to a crystal clean palace. That’s why most clients entrust HomeClean® with their key.

Here is how one client left a key with us:

He told us where it would be hidden and instructed us to keep it for future access to his home. Our keys are encoded with a serial number and stored in a safe. Your name or address is never on the key. We go to extraordinary measures to protect your home.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies and equipment?

We bring our cleaning supplies, but please let us know if you have any special requests and we would be happy to accommodate you if possible. Our cleaning technicians will ask to use your vacuum to ensure a better clean. If you don’t have a vacuum available, worry not, you can add it as extra in Online Booking Form and we’ll bring ours.

Will I always have the same person cleaning my home?

Yes, you will be assigned your own HomeClean maid. If she’s not available due to illness or vacation then we will notify you and you will have the option to skip, reschedule or have us send a replacement HomeClean maid.
You can always ask to switch your maid if you don’t like the work she does. Different people have different expectations and every maid has their own unique style of cleaning so do not hesitate to try different sorento maids till you find the right fit!

What about my Pets?

Pets are happiest and less stressed at home, surrounded by their familiar environment, following a customary routine. Our maids may disrupt your pets’ routine. We love pets, but the truth is some pets don’t love us.

If your pet is predisposed to showing aggression when visitors are in your home, please alert your local office when you are booking service.

Be sure to advise our office where your pet’s hair accumulates, your pet names, and if it is alright to give your pet a treat. The more information you give us, the better chance we have of providing extraordinary service.

Can I give specific instructions to the cleaners and ask for special requests?

Yes, special instructions can be left for the cleaning professional when you schedule your appointment online. After the clean is complete, you can rate your MyClean experience and provide feedback submitting to mailto:

Do you clean during or after business hours?

We clean during both. Our cleaning staff is able to clean day and night, depending on your preference.

Many customers give us a key for after-hours cleaning, so we can clean without disrupting your work. Our cleaning staff are insured and bonded, and HomeClean will coordinate all necessary documentation with your building manager.

When does my card get charged?

Your credit card will be charged at midnight on the day that your appointment takes place. You will receive an automated email with the transaction summary to notify you when and how much your card is charged.

Should I Tip my Maids?

Should I tip my maids? Well, that depends… are you happy with your service? If the answer is yes, don’t hesitate to tip your maids.

Make your maids beam with pride when they make a customer happy! It puts pep in their step when someone tells the maids “Good job,” or sends a note. Tipping is greatly appreciated.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes we do! Our gift certificates are a great idea for weddings, birthdays, mother’s days, housewarming gifts etc.
Please contact us and give us as many details as you can, about the home you want to get cleaned (number of bathrooms/bedrooms etc).
We will give you a quote about how much the service will cost.
We can either mail the certificate directly to you or to the recipient on your behalf.
We can even bring fresh flowers on the day of the cleaning!

Cancellation/Reschedule policy

If it is necessary to cancel/skip your scheduled cleaning, we require a 24-hour notification. If we receive fewer than 24 hours notice or we cannot get access to your home then we will charge a $70 late fee or a lockout fee equal to your cleaning fee.
Please be sure to submit in writing (via email) any termination of regularly scheduled cleanings.
Please do not inform your Wizard directly of any changes to your schedule- this must be done directly with the management.

What is the Great Clean Guarantee?

If you’re not satisfied with your clean, you can request a free Re-Clean.

How to request a Re-Clean?

Customers can request a Re-Clean either by email by phone 646-260-1050— as long as the appointment was completed within the past 48 hours. The Re-Clean appointment must be scheduled and completed within 72 hours of contact.
